Mike Hazlewood is the Co-Founder & CEO of SensePilot, a pioneering startup dedicated to redefining how individuals with mobility and dexterity impairments interact with the digital world. By leveraging standard webcams to enable hands-free control for PCs and gaming, SensePilot aims to disrupt the traditional cost and hardware barriers associated with Assistive Technology.

The company was founded in Lithuania alongside his brother-in-law, Linas Jonika, an experienced developer in the Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) industry. Mike’s own path to accessibility began during a transition from a sales career to Product Management, where he became fascinated by the intersection of inclusive design and product development.

Based In London, he is currently training for the London Marathon this April, raising funds for SpecialEffect, a charity renowned for its work in levelling the playing field for gamers with physical disabilities. When he isn’t working on the future of hands-free tech, he spends his time with his wife, son, and dog.
