AXSChat with Johny Cassidy

Johny Cassidy is an experienced BBC journalist with a demonstrable track record in reaching underserved audiences. He’s a passionate advocate for digital accessibility and has written extensively on why all newsrooms need to understand better how different parts of the audience access content. He’s also the co-chair of the BBC’s disabled staff network BBC Ability where he strives to make the BBC a better workplace culture for all disabled staff. He’s also recently qualified as an accessibility professional having passed   the International Association of Accessibility Professionals CPACC exam.  He’s a Fellow of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism  at the University of Oxford as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
