Rene Perkins (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rene-perkins-827420ba/) is a serial entrepreneur dedicated to using technology for the good of society and the environment. She holds a MSc in Finance and investment and she is a qualified chartered accountant with E&Y and has 8 years’ investment banking experience with HSBC. Since 2013, she established two start-ups around sustainable transportation solutions in smart cities. She is now focusing on CityMaaS (https://citymaas.io/), using innovative technology to achieve digital inclusion and inclusive travel for people with disabilities and their friends and families. She has been invited to speak in a number of big conferences across the globe. In her spare time, she has numerous volunteering, mentoring and advisory positions across charity and the start-up world. She enjoys painting, traveling and is a keen foodie especially when it comes to seafood. Most importantly she is a mum of two young girls who keep her grounded!
