Janice Valentine founded Hack Access Dublin to help change how the societal challenge of disability was tackled. Keen to take an action orientated, multidisciplinary, approach, Janice was inspired by the startup community and saw the potential to leverage the talent, energy, positivity and creativity of aspiring entrepreneurs, to hack the access challenges that exclude people with a disability from participating in society. Janice is a coach and advocate of purposeful innovation and entrepreneurship, she is committed to supporting individuals realise their individual purpose and at the same time make the world a more inclusive and equitable place. For her coaching business, Great Life Distillery, she has run Purposeful Innovation workshops and for two years ran Startup Salon, an event series focused on inspiring people looking to bring more meaning and autonomy into their work, through entrepreneurship.
