I have worked for 20 years as a developer, teacher, author, and tester. I also advise agencies, NGOs, colleges, and foundations.
As an approved BIK-BITV testing center, I check websites to make sure they follow the European Norm EN 301 549.
I wrote books about CSS, HTML, and accessibility for the well-known Herdt publishing company, which produces educational materials.
In short, I understand both the theory and practice of making websites accessible.
Today, I am an author and a member of the Association of German Writers, where I led the NRW-Süd district for several years. I am also a web professional in the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
