
Juliette Burton is an award-winning comedian, voiceover and writer. Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, and now on tour with her hit show ‘Best of Burton’ – a celebration of her last 10 years in comedy including 5 years of total sold out seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe.
She was shortlisted for Best New Show at Brighton Fringe 2025, named Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of the Edinburgh Fringe 2023 and 2024, shortlisted for The Disability Power 100 (UK) in 2024 and had sold out shows at audience and critical acclaim at Edinburgh Fringe 2024 and 2025. She has performed solo comedy worldwide. She has performed at Festivals around the world including Leicester Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and New Zealand International Comedy Festival. In 2015 Juliette won the Argus Angel Award at Brighton Fringe for Look At Me and Voice Magazine Pick of the Fringe 2017.

She is currently writing her first book and continues to write and broadcast as a journalist.
MENTAL HEALTH:
Juliette is an ambassador for UK mental health charity Rethink Mental Illness, and supporter of Mind, Chasing The Stigma, MQ Mental Health and B-eat.
Juliette has been diagnosed in her life with 15 different mental illnesses, as well as late-diagnosed neurodivergence. She was sectioned under the mental health act aged 17 and hospitalised 5 times for mental illness. She’s been in therapy for over 25 years. She brings this lived experience expertise to her comedy and revels in being able to use humour to break down barriers, increase understanding and help people to know that if we’re laughing together then we are not alone. Juliette’s themes in her shows focus on empowerment – kindness, hope, confidence, community and unity all run throughout her on stage comedy and talks, not just in words but in actions too.
