Shane Kanady – SourceAmerica’s Director, Government Affairs Special Projects.

Shane Kanady is SourceAmerica’s Director, Government Affairs Special Projects. In his role, Kanady oversees SourceAmerica’s Future of Work Program, combining research, advocacy and social innovation to address the economic and social inclusion of persons with disabilities. Kanady advises House and Senate offices on future of work policies and oversees relationships with domestic and international organizations. During his seventeen-year career, Kanady has served in multiple management and director roles in the areas of operations and government affairs. Shane holds a master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from George Mason University. He has served as a Social Impact Fellow at George Mason University and a Graduate Student Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Currently, he serves on the advisory council for the Armed Services Arts Partnership and as a Fellow with the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
