Paola Alcázar is a journalist, Ph.D. in psychology, from the Caribbean region of Colombia.10 years ago, when her son Samuel was born with visual disability, she started to study, to understand and to work for people, specially children, with some disability in order for them to feel that this world belongs to them. Today, she is a social activist of social inclusion in Colombia and other Latin American countries; and from the education sector in which she works, she shares with mothers, children, youth and adults that the education is the base of the transformation and social inclusion; and that disability is a condition of life that is worth fighting to achieve equality.
