Dr. Borodin is the CEO of Charmtech Labs LLC, a company he co-founded to remove barriers between people and information by empowering children, adults, and seniors to process information more effectively, overcome print disabilities, and keep up with reading. Charmtech’s flagship product is Capti Voice (www.captivoice.com) – a productivity tool enabling people to listen to everything they want to read. Educators use Capti to provide support to students with diverse needs and abilities within a single classroom, track student engagement, and assess their progress over time.
Dr. Yevgen Borodin is internationally known for his research on making computers more accessible to people with disabilities. He has co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed research publications and received numerous awards, including the MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35, FCC Chairman’s Award for Advancing Accessibility, and others. Dr. Borodin has earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, where he is a Research Professor.
