In 2015, the Global Observatory for Inclusion (GLOBI) teams up with the UN Secretary General’s Global Education First Initiative (GEFI) and the GEFI Youth Advocacy Group in a global art campaign to raise children’s and youth’s awareness on disabilities and inclusion – #DrawDisability.

The #DrawDisability campaign asks children and young people across the world to reflect on their understanding of the concept of disability, and the issues Persons with Disability (PWD) face in terms of inclusion or access to education. Children and young people are then invited to share those reflections by drawing how they see PWD in their communities.
Artwork received before April 1, 2015 will be showcased at the World Education Forum in Incheon, Republic of Korea in May 2015; and at the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in New York, USA in June 2015. The main deadline of all artworks is on July 15, 2015.
