Jaisiel is an advocate for a mainstream accessibility. In his current role, he is using accessibility to build new common processes, platforms and tools to bring to light all the potential of local entrepreneurship communities. He is the inventor of business application “Business4ALL”, aimed at accelerating the understanding and adoption of business models literacy to a broader base of people and situations. He is also the founder of the business initiative “Lean Inclusion”.

Jaisiel has assisted in the design of accessibility masterplans in several Smart Cities initiatives, promoting universal access to the wide range of smart city services and implementing new profit & purpose business models in collaborative and community-driven environments. He was also the leader of R&D Department of former Technosite, the ICT company of ONCE Foundation, participating in several European Projects on eInclusion (Cloud4ALL -European GPII-, APSIS4ALL, or SAAPHO, among others). He was also the technical coordinator of INREDIS project, the largest Spanish R&D Consortium in Spain with focus on accessibility, and one of the founders of the Spanish University Network for Innovation on Accessible and Interoperable Technologies. Jaisiel is a telecommunication engineer and holds an MSc in Machine Learning and Data Processing. He has done research on social applications of machine learning in several universities from Spain, England and Italy. In 2011 his team was awarded with the Vodafone Innovation Award for Simplext project, a ubiquitous automatic text simplification assistive technology, and he has co-organized several sessions on “Assistive Machine Learning for People with Disabilities” in some of the world’s top conferences for machine learning professionals.
